Phase one was completed to coincide with El Segundo’s downtown rejuvenation project that is transforming the area and providing substantial amenities to residents, businesses and visitors alike. With Phase one experiencing fantastic reviews, the final phases are underway set to open in the coming years. When completed the 37-acre complex will contain approximately 425,000 feet of upscale retailers, specialty foods stores, restaurants and boutiques.

Dotted throughout the center are some of Plaza El Segundo’s landmark features, its artwork. These permanent collections are large-scale whimsical art forms that are clustered into fun zones designed to subtly direct shoppers through the center. Additionally, Plaza El Segundo offers an interactive play fountain bearing the trademark of the Plaza, the blue butterfly. Here children can delight in waterspouts randomly exploding into the air and then disappearing without a trace.
